About Us

Christopher P. Rader earned a degree in Computer Information Systems from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama and an MBA from Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. Chris was exposed to the fundamentals of the building supply business at an early age while working in his family's lumber business in south Louisiana. He later joined a national LBM software company and implemented systems nationwide. In June of 1998 he founded Rader Solutions, an IT company providing outsourced IT for LBM dealers. Junior Achievement of Acadiana awarded Rader Solutions 'Small Business of the Year' in 2017 and also awarded Chris Rader the '2021 Business Person of the Year'. Chris previously served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer for one of the leading fiberglass door distributors in North America and he compiled the 2008 Cost of Doing Business Survey for the LBM Federated Associations. Chris recently served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Schools of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau, Louisiana and served on the Board of Trustees of Spring Hill College, Mobile Alabama. He currently serves on the Board of Home Bank (NASDAQ: HBCP), locations in Louisiana and Mississippi, Evangeline Area Scouts, United Way of Acadiana, and is a member of the National Speakers Association. He is married (Jennie). He joined the Lester Group Board in 2011 and currently serves on the Compensation Committee.
